- Put on your jewelry after you put on your make up. Perfume, hairspray and lotion (and other chemical agents) can easily corrode and alter the finish of your jewelry.
- Body chemistry of each individual can also affect the jewelry in different way.
- Remove your jewelry before doing strenuous activities.
- Do not use chemical cleaners. After wearing, gently polish using a soft, lint-free cloth.
- If you wish to extend the life of your jewelry, do not wear your jewelry during a bath, shower, or while swimming.
- Store in Ziplock bags or in a cool dry place.

The leather jewelry can last for a long time if maintained properly. It must be protected from dust. - The dirt on the jewelry can be removed using a piece of soft damp cloth. While handling the leather jewelry, our hands must be clean as well as dry.
- The leather jewelry may be worn after the application of perfumes and other cosmetics, so that the jewelry will not get coated with the perfumes.
- The leather jewelry should not be cleaned using chemicals based cleaning agent.
- One should not wear the leather jewelry while taking bath, swimming or performing physical exercises. When leather absorbs perspiration from the body, it will lose original beauty. Hence it is better not to wear the leather jewelry while doing any strenuous work.
